UPDATE 11/10/23: The acquisition has completed, and FlexSim is now officially part of Autodesk!
We are excited to share with you that FlexSim has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Autodesk. When it is completed, this acquisition will provide an amazing opportunity to expand and enhance FlexSim’s capabilities as we partner with Autodesk’s global product development ecosystem. Being a part of Autodesk would also provide you, our customer, with access to tools and technologies that you may not already be using to help you design and make anything.
Our powerful, capable, and easy-to-use simulation modeling and analysis software fits perfectly into Autodesk’s digital transformation journey. We plan to continue to deliver effective simulation solutions that help you solve your most challenging problems. We appreciate all your support and look forward to growing with you in the future as Autodesk.
“This is a dream pairing that will be immensely positive for FlexSim and our users,” said founder and CEO Bill Nordgren. “We appreciate your business and confidence in us and are excited for the journey to continue.”
Autodesk’s acquisition of FlexSim has not been completed; the completion of the acquisition is uncertain and is subject to various closing conditions. Subject to the timely completion or waiver of the applicable closing conditions, FlexSim expects the acquisition to close in the coming weeks or months. Until the acquisition closes, FlexSim and Autodesk will continue to operate as separate companies.
