FlexSim’s Agent Systems tool is a set of features that will help you add agent-based systems and behaviors to your models. This tool is useful for any simulation model that wants to account for the interactions of people or other entities as they move through a system.
FlexSim 2020 Update 2 includes our most focused effort yet to include agent-based behaviors to your simulation models. This release also includes significant updates and improvements to object/activity properties, the user interface, and Process Flow functionality.

Beginning with FlexSim 2021, we will no longer be releasing 32-bit versions of FlexSim. FlexSim’s system requirements will include using a 64-bit Windows operating system. We believe this change will improve the quality of our software and maintain an exceptional user experience.

Winners to the FlexSim Latino American Competition of Logistics Simulation were recently announced during the Latin American Congress Closing Awards event in Ecuador on March 13. Students competed to deliver simulation-based solutions for a real-world problem in South America.
FlexSim software was used in the recent Latin America simulation competition. Teams, which ranged from all across South America, submitted solutions and 3D simulation models to solve distribution handling and operating problems.

FlexSim was recently featured in a virtual reality social innovation competition that aimed to solve existing social and environmental issues in Hong Kong. Students were trained to use the simulation software to create their own 3D models and judged on their design, innovations, and overall presentation.
